I made a series of water colours around the theme of receiving the gift of a flower... The story was published last year, 2011, by Tulika with the title "Magnolias" Somewhat obscurely, they preferred to use another illustrator for the story, and even more amusingly, some of the illustrations were very close to my original paintings...some sort of variation on what can be called a painting and what an illustration. In any case, I am truly happy that my little story got published in six Indian languages and perhaps amuses some tots on their way to sweet dreams in bed!
